The Role: We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join thriving 25 bed Mental Health Unit at Mayo Private Hospital. Reporting to our Nurse Unit Manager, you will work within a supportive, agile team of dedicated nurses and allied health professionals along with psychologists and psychiatrists, providing quality, evidenced based care. Our unit is voluntary admission and offers a safe, relaxed and secure unit with in-house group therapy and individual therapy sessions customized to our patients and their care.
Essential Criteria:
- Current registration with APHRA
- Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience
- Comprehensive clinical skills & experience within the Mental Health environment
- Experience in policy development and implementation
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Effective communication and time management
- Current NSW working with children check
- National Police Check certificate – No older than 3 months on application
Desirable Criteria
- Post Graduate Qualification within Mental Health
- Experience in the Hospitals Patient Information System - WebPAS
