Trainer and Assessor - GDM (Learning) & Diploma in Automotive
Melbourne Metropolitan College (Active Transition Training) offers vocational education with campuses in Melbourne, Gold Coast, and Adelaide. This role requires delivering training and assessment to international students in alignment with COE and course durations.

Responsibilities
* Deliver face-to-face (onsite) training at the Gold Coast – Southport campus, ensuring engaging and effective learning experiences.
* Be highly engaging to assist in successful completions of students in alignment with COE and course durations.
* Ensure compliance with 2025 RTO Standards and industry standards for VET & Stream (GDM - Learning or Automotive) for training and assessing and ongoing professional development.
* Comply with ASQA requirements in teaching, training, and evaluating students.
* Assess the effectiveness of training programs by gathering feedback and contributing to validations.
Requirements
* Must have relevant VET qualifications.
* Must have Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122).
* Must have currency in industry and VET experience at a minimum of 3 years for: GDM (L&D Graduate Diploma level) or Automotive (Diploma level, as well as Cert IV and Cert III).

* GDM: Must have experience in training and assessing according to vocational education training requirements, with transferable skills and knowledge for student job readiness in L&D/Learning Management.
* Must be able to demonstrate all requirements in Trainer Matrix and Resume along with supporting referees and qualification verification.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
* Excellent training and assessing methodologies and managing international student learning journeys.
* Excellent compliant assessment administration with swift turnaround of assessments.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
* Experience with using LMS/SMS (Axcelerate).
