Job Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Infrastructure Modernisation Consultant to join our high-performance Professional Services team. This customer‐facing consulting position requires exceptional collaborative skills and the ability to build strong partnerships with our customers and within Datacom.
Location: Our offices are based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney, but we allow flexible working arrangements. This is a 12‐month contract opportunity. To be successful you must be an Australian Citizen and hold an active NV1 security clearance.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with customers, partners, sales, and technical teams across cross‐disciplinary initiatives.
* Ensure assigned IT infrastructure‐based projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed scope.
* Serve as the technical point of contact for implementation services and solutions, which may be provided remotely or on‐site.
* Provide pre‐sales support and expertise to the sales team.
Qualifications
* Experience working with external enterprise customers in professional services environments.
* Design, implementation and optimisation of Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware Cloud Foundation 9.0, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‐V, AHV) and VCF 9.0.
* Curiosity and passion for customers; proven ability to communicate solutions across technical and non‐technical stakeholders.
* Comfortable engaging both technical and non‐technical staff and stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently on competing priorities and as part of a team.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Desirable: Design, implementation and optimisation experience with backup and recovery (Commvault, Veeam) and hyperconverged technologies (Nutanix, Dell, Cisco).
