This permanent full‐time position starts in Term 3, 2026 at Sunrise Primary School. The school places its students at the heart of everything, promoting a caring community, evidence‐based practice and student success.
The Role
As a Mainstream Education Assistant, you will support the delivery of planned education programmes and help develop young minds. You will work in a team, assisting with small‐group or individual programmes and helping maintain a learning environment that prioritises health, safety and inclusion.
* Assist teachers in lesson planning and curriculum delivery.
* Support students with generalized health and well‐being needs.
* Help maintain a safe, inclusive and respectful classroom environment.
* Manage student behaviour in line with school policies.
* Engage in coaching and whole‐school practices to support continuous professional growth.
* Foster warm, respectful relationships with families, recognising them as essential partners in each child's learning journey.

* Demonstrated organisational skills to assist in delivering effective educational programmes.
* Demonstrated ability to support the general health and well‐being of students.
