Job Overview
Lead meaningful change in adult community mental health through evidence‐based Occupational Therapy practice. This role is part of Bayside Adult Community Mental Health, a service under Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services, delivering high‐quality care and supporting improved outcomes for consumers.
Responsibilities
* Deliver advanced Occupational Therapy and case management services including assessment, intervention, evaluation and recovery‐focused care within a multidisciplinary mental health team.
* Provide clinical leadership through supervision, education and support to junior clinicians, students and Allied Health Assistants while acting as a key clinical resource within the team.
* Contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives and evidence‐based practice to enhance mental health service delivery and consumer outcomes.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience delivering evidence‐based Occupational Therapy services within mental health settings, including complex assessment, intervention and case management.
* Strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and engage positively with consumers and carers.
* Proven ability to work independently, prioritise competing demands and apply sound clinical judgement in complex and dynamic environments.
