GKR Transport is currently searching for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Linehaul Administration Assistant to join our high-energy and high-performing team at our office in Welshpool, Western Australia.
The Linehaul Administration Assistant's role is to assist the State Operations Manager in overseeing the coordination, allocation and management of the day to day Linehaul side of the business. In this role you will be required to maintain communication with the depot's supervisors, drivers and clients to ensure all required information is communicated.
Key responsibilities
* Arrange and coordinate day to day communication within the business.
* Accurately manifest trailers loaded.
* Work with the semi drivers to ensure deliveries and pick-ups are completed in a timely manner.
* Support the schedulers via emails and phone calls.
* Data entry of collections.
* Assisting drivers with information and paperwork regarding their trips, pick ups and deliveries.
* Assist in other departments when required.
* Maintain compliance with all policies and procedures implemented by the company.
Desired but not essential
* Experience in customer service.
* Experience working in transport/warehousing.
* Experience with computer system.
* Attention to detail, with strong administrative, planning and organization skills.
* Demonstrated ability to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced environment.
