Job Overview
The Customer Coordinator role serves as the primary point of contact between customers and our workshop during repair or rebuild operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish and maintain effective customer relationships through proactive communication and timely updates.
* Present quote approvals to customers prior to commencing any work or scope variations, ensuring transparent and efficient project management.
* In consultation with the workshop and/or Sales team, provide customers with tailored repair and service solutions that meet their needs and expectations.
* Communicate job progress and expected completion times/dates to customers, fostering a culture of transparency and trust.
* Liaise with internal departments to ensure seamless collaboration and customer satisfaction, while also managing cost allocations effectively.
* Oversee the invoicing and processing of all work orders, promptly investigating and resolving any disputed invoices.
* Provide regular reports to stakeholders, offering valuable insights into outstanding Work-In-Progress (WIP) and facilitating accurate sales forecasting.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to handle complex queries and resolve issues efficiently.
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and negotiation with customers and internal teams.
* Intermediate computer literacy skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management systems.
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and prioritise tasks accordingly.
* Proven analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, allowing for effective resolution of workplace issues and customer disputes.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and independently, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
