About the role
This role leads the day-to-day operations of the FamilySupport Network, supporting a team delivering outreach case management and parenting services to children, young people and families experiencing complex challenges and those most at risk of child protection intervention across the Joondalup and Mirrabooka regions.
You will provide leadership, supervision and coaching to a multidisciplinary team while ensuring services are delivered in line with evidence-based practice, funding requirements and MercyCare values. Working collaboratively across the Youth Wellbeing and Accommodation portfolio, you'll help strengthen service delivery, manage referrals and allocations, support reflective practice and promote stakeholder engagement with partner agencies across the sector.
This is a permanent, full-time position based in our Mirrabooka office.
About you
You're a compassionate and resilient leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about supporting vulnerable children, young people and families.
You'll have experience mentoring and supporting staff, alongside a strong understanding of trauma-informed and evidence-based practice within the community services sector.
* Tertiary qualifications in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health or a related discipline (desirable)
* Experience working with children, young people and families with complex needs
* Strong case management, stakeholder engagement and leadership capability
* Experience working collaboratively with external agencies and community supports
* Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
* Working with Children Check
* Current Driver's Licence
* National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
