About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated casual Allied Health Assistant to join our skilled and supportive Nutrition and Dietetics team at Dubbo Hospital.

The Nutrition and Dietetics Allied Health Assistant works under the direction of the Dietitians to ensure that hospital patients receive food and fluid most appropriate to their requirements while considering the patients' clinical needs, food allergies and preferences.

The Allied Health Assistant is an integral part of a team involved in patient menu completion, accurate plating of meals and communicating food requirements to the Catering Department to optimise a patients' nutrition status.
