Part-Time Reception & Administration Officer
Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 3:00pm (hours open to discussion)
We are seeking a friendly, professional and reliable Reception & Administration Officer to join our team on a part-time basis.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in their presentation, and can manage multiple tasks in a busy office environment.
As the first point of contact for our firm, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming experience for our clients and supporting the smooth running of the office.
Key Responsibilities
* Greet clients and maintain a welcoming office environment
* Manage appointment schedules for accountants
* Prepare the boardroom and offer refreshments to clients
* Direct incoming enquiries to the appropriate team members
* Answer incoming calls and assist with client enquiries
* Prepare invoices, client correspondence, and payments
* Review timesheets for payroll processing
* Perform general administrative tasks, including:
o Mail and document handling
o Ordering office and kitchen supplies
o Filing, scanning, photocopying and document preparation
* Follow up outstanding client documentation
* Process income tax assessment notices and client communications
* Provide general administrative support to the wider team
* Provide cover for team members during leave periods
About You
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Professional presentation and phone manner
* High level of organisation and attention to detail
* Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively
* Proactive with strong initiative
* Solid Microsoft Office skills (Word and Excel)
* Reliable with a strong work ethic
Previous office experience is an advantage, but not essential.
