Role

We are seeking a motivated applicant with a passion for teaching at the secondary level and a solid understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum. In your role as a Secondary Generalist Teacher you will deliver a curriculum tailored to the diverse needs of all students, fostering an environment where every student is empowered to reach their full potential. Your dedication to academic excellence and high‐quality teaching and learning will set the standard for our learning community.

Mobility appointments for permanent metropolitan and south‐west teachers: Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South‐West Education Region school, may elect to undertake this role as a 3‐year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position. At the cessation of the 3‐year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school. Find out if you are eligible on IKON.

Teachers and School Administrators employed at Eastern Goldfields College in 2026 will be eligible to receive a temporary Attraction and Retention Incentive of $3,000 (pa, gross – to be adjusted pro‐rata for FTE and tenure). Eligible staff will receive a percentage of this payment on commencement at the school, with the remainder paid at the end of the school year. Staff must remain employed in the location until the end of the school year to be eligible to receive the second payment.
