As a Lineworker, you will play a critical role in ensuring our community has a safe and reliable electricity supply. Your expertise will be instrumental in constructing and maintaining transmission and distribution networks, responding quickly to faults to minimize disruptions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Attending and rectifying faults in a timely manner to ensure minimal loss of supply and less disruption to customers.
* Completing allocated construction and maintenance work to industry standards, ensuring consistent quality across the network.
* Maintaining and enhancing core Line skills with changing industry standards and business requirements.
* Participating in pre-job planning to identify risks, hazards, and task variables, and control measures to ensure safe, reliable, and affordable job completion.
* Working in environmental elements to complete jobs subject to adequate safety and control measures being implemented.
* Providing excellent customer service when working in the field, especially where there is direct contact with the public.
What Makes You a Great Fit?
* New Zealand Electricity Supply (Distribution) Minimum Level 4 qualification.
* Demonstrated experience in the construction and maintenance of distribution electricity networks.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
