About the role
We are seeking experienced Excavator/Drill Fitters looking for a permanent opportunity to join our dynamic maintenance team in Collinsville.
Our teams deliver mining excellence, with uncompromising safety and environmental standards and we're looking forward to continuing our long-term relationships across our mine sites.
As an Excavator/Drill Fitter, you will be required to:
* Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on excavators and drills to ensure optimal functionality and safety
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform troubleshooting, and execute necessary repairs.
* Perform scheduled servicing and inspections according to manufacturer specifications.
* Replace parts, components, and systems as needed to maintain equipment performance and reliability.
* Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure efficient workflow and minimal equipment downtime.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
* Always adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
About you
* Mechanical/Diesel Fitting trade qualification
* Proven experience as an Excavator/Drill Fitter or similar role in the construction or mining industry
* Enthusiastic attitude & high performing work ethic
* Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Strong commitment to workplace safety and culture
* Current Drivers Licence
* Current Standard 11 desirable
