Job Description
* Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team
* Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
* Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.
* Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
* Prepares project proposal and tenders for Main Roads Panel projects and Major Projects.
* Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
* Prepares technical specification sections.
* Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
* Carries out interdisciplinary coordination on projects.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
* 15+ years' experience in highway and major infrastructure design.
* Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) – Engineers Australia.
* Demonstrated experience working with Main Roads WA projects and standards.
* Proven track record leading multidisciplinary design teams in a consultancy environment.
* Strong commercial awareness and client‐facing capability.
* Ability to provide clear technical direction and professional judgement.
