Water Planning Engineer Role
Bundaberg Regional Council invites applications for a challenging Water Planning Engineer role. As a key member of the Water Services Branch, you will play a crucial part in leading the delivery of strategic infrastructure planning and programs for water and sewerage infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the development and implementation of infrastructure strategies, including local government infrastructure plans (LGIP), master and detailed infrastructure planning, engineering scoping of growth projects, and providing advice on water and sewerage aspects of developments.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering with postgraduate qualifications advantageous.
* Significant experience in the development and implementation of infrastructure strategies, planning, and design.
* Proven ability in hydraulic modeling, managing water and wastewater network models, and developing long-term capital investment programs and project scoping for growth infrastructure.
* Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience leading or mentoring technical staff.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
