About The Role
Operating within the People and Capability Directorate, the P&C Advisor, Casual Workforce plays an essential role in ensuring ACU maintains a legally compliant and suitably qualified casual workforce. The P&C Advisor, Casual Workforce is responsible for the recruitment, onboarding, verification and maintenance of employee records related to casual academic and professional staff work rights, visa status, Working with Children Checks (WWCC), professional qualifications and accreditations required as part of casual employment at the university. The position supports institutional integrity, student safety and regulatory compliance by proactively managing credentialing processes and collaborating with internal stakeholders. The Advisor will contribute to a culture of accountability and excellence by assisting with ensuring all casual staff meet employment standards and legislative requirements, and will develop both immediate tactical solutions and long-term strategic improvements to ensure processes are robust, compliant and efficient as well as meet faculty or portfolio needs and align with business objectives.

What We Offer

* Total remuneration valued to $112,625 - $120,977 total rem (pro rata) per annum, including salary component $95,170 - $102,227 (pro rata) per annum (HEW 6), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
* 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
* Annual leave loading equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata, dependent on commencement date.
