Loading Operator – KCGM Super Pit
* Efficiently conducting excavators, face shovels and other mobile plant activities in the Fimiston Open Pit (KCGM Super Pit) to ensure that production targets are achieved in a timely and safe manner.
* Ensuring trucks are loaded correctly and to target capacity from the correct bench level and maintaining a circuit of evenly spaced trucks to ensure consistent delivery of both ore and waste.
* Working with and assisting technical staff such as geologists and geotechnical staff to ensure all work is carried out to the required standard and in accordance with the production schedule.
* Engaging in pre‐shift work planning, ensuring work is undertaken as per the dig plan, assisting in the identification of hazards and ensuring efficient utilisation of mobile plant.
* Coordinating and managing the assigned work area directing dozers and trucks over the radio. Conducting active communications with dispatchers on ground conditions.
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
Experience: Essential experience for this role includes a minimum of five (5) years ancillary operating in hard rock mining, as well as minimum two (2) years shovel (five hundred tonnes plus) operating experience (preferred experience is five (5) years Shovel Operating). It is also essential that you reside in the Goldfields region or this role or be willing to relocate. You will also need a strong understanding of mining sequence process and activities, as well as good computer literacy.
Qualifications: Current Unencumbered 'C' Class Drivers Licence. Attainment of S44 Certification is not essential but desirable.
