Administrative Officer Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Officer to support the smooth day-to-day operations of our growing organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating office activities, handling calls, emails, mail, and maintaining records and databases.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting with staff schedules, travel arrangements, and meeting organization for management and staff.
* Maintaining office supplies and preparing documents, reports, and presentations.
* Supporting payroll by collating timesheets, checking staff hours, and assisting with general accounts tasks.
* Assisting Project Managers with freight coordination and updating the company scheduling system.
* Maintaining registers and service records for equipment, ladders, and vehicles.
* Supporting WHS documentation and compliance (SWMS, vehicle registers, office safety checks).
* Performing light office upkeep (meeting rooms and common areas – cleaners attend regularly).
Requirements for this role include prior experience in administration, proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong organizational skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. A proactive and team-oriented mindset is also essential.
Favorable qualifications include experience in the electrical, construction, or service industries, familiarity with WHS processes and documentation, and experience maintaining registers for vehicles, equipment, or other assets.
