Our full onsite production kitchen allows the Catering staff to provide high quality, fresh cooked, seasonal menus for patients, staff, surgeons & partners (in birthing services). Our Catering Department provides a solid support structure within a friendly working environment which enables the team to provide the highest level of standards, quality and customer service to patients. We are seeking a motivated and committed individual to join our extraordinary team on full time basis.
Responsibilities
Distributing and collecting all patient meals
Preparing food and beverages
Plating and heating of meals
Cleaning duties / use of industrial dishwasher
Delivering meals to various wards / delivery of morning and afternoon tea
Ensuring that all data relating to patient bed and nutritional status is accurate and current
Qualifications
Current Food Handlers Certificate (HLTFSE001)
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements
Previous food service industry experience
Track record of providing excellent service and customer experience
Effective communication skills
Demonstrate a excellent work ethic
Basic computer skills
Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team workplace
Flexibility to work rotating roster across 7 days
