Responsibilities
* Ensure that the organisation's financial resources (cost, balance sheet, and capital) are allocated efficiently and returns are optimised.
* Support the Personal Banking CFO to deliver financial and commercial analysis for day‐to‐day and longer‐term decision‐making.
* Lead, motivate, and develop a high‐performing team, fostering clarity of purpose, capability, and engagement.
* Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting and planning requirements for the division, acting as the key interface between the PB CFO team and Group Finance.
* Develop and implement strategies to optimise P&L and Balance Sheet management in alignment with business objectives and financial targets.
* Provide high‐quality, timely and insightful analysis of revenue, balance‐sheet trends, P&L, capital metrics and competitor landscape to inform decision‐making at all levels.
* Partner with Product & Distribution Finance partners to identify, evaluate and deliver revenue and productivity initiatives.
* Serve as the primary interface between the division and Group Finance for all matters relating to forecasting and planning.
* Interface with the business and Treasury Capital Management on capital metrics and initiatives to reduce RWAs, including leading the monthly Capital Forum.
* Oversee change management to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial planning.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, decision support and insightful analysis to support commercial decision‐making.
* Ability to engage, collaborate, influence stakeholders at all levels and drive change across complex environments.
* Excellent written communication, with experience drafting and contributing to board‐level presentations and reports.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
* Experience in leading teams and building collaborative relationships across finance and business functions.
* Relevant tertiary qualification, ideally CA/CPA qualified.
