Working in an exciting diverse business you'll be responsible for the general maintenance of our new and refurbished facilities, small projects, and customer facing support. This role suits someone who wants to be hands-on—but also enjoys project planning, problem-solving, and dealing directly with people. The position reports directly to the Marina Manager of the business and plays a vital role in maintaining property standards, customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of maintenance activities.
What You'll Do
* Carry out hands-on maintenance across the property.
* Lead small projects from scope to completion (estimating costs, managing budgets, sourcing materials).
* Ensure buildings meet the appropriate level of presentation and safety standards.
* Ensure grounds, surrounds and infrastructure are well kept and aesthetically pleasing.
* Liaise with tenants, customers, trusted contractors and internal stakeholders to get the job done smoothly with minimal disruption.
* Conduct regular inspections and keep maintenance schedules up to date.

About You
You're an experienced and reliable person who takes pride in doing quality work and thinking ahead. You've likely got a trade or handyman background with equivalent hands-on experience in carpentry or building, and / or a good understanding of marina/boating operations and maintenance. You'll be a team player, bring a positive attitude and be happy to assist our small team as and when required to achieve excellence in customer service expectations. You'll need:
* Demonstrated experience with maintaining assets and groundskeeping.
* A current and valid Driver's License.
* Willingness to get First Aid and Boat Licenses (we'll support this).
* Ability to scope and quote jobs, manage small budgets, and use basic digital tools (Excel, reporting, and maintenance software).
* Experience developing maintenance schedules and reporting on work progress.
* A friendly, professional manner—you'll be trusted to deal directly with stakeholders and the public to uphold the marina's reputation.
Additional Information
Some weekend or after-hours work may be required occasionally (e.g. emergencies or special projects).
