Hotel Operations Manager
We are seeking a seasoned Hotel/Resort Operations Manager to oversee daily hotel operations at one of our properties in Surfers Paradise. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth business performance, exceptional guest experiences, and compliance with hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Front Office Management: Direct front office operations, including reservations, reception, and guest services
* Housekeeping and Maintenance: Oversee housekeeping, room maintenance, and property presentation to ensure high cleanliness and comfort standards
* Booking Systems and Distribution: Manage booking systems and online distribution channels for optimal occupancy and revenue
* Security and Safety: Supervise security arrangements and ensure guest and staff safety
* Maintenance and Landscaping: Coordinate property maintenance, landscaping, and external contractor services
* Guest Feedback and Satisfaction: Monitor guest feedback and satisfaction to continually improve service quality
* Administrative and Financial Functions: Oversee administrative, accounting, and purchasing functions for efficient operations
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience in hotel, motel, or resort management
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Proficiency with hotel booking systems and property management software
* Sound understanding of guest service excellence and operational efficiency
* Ability to manage and train staff, coordinate maintenance, and oversee financial performance
