Maintenance Attendant Position Overview
The role of Maintenance Attendant involves providing essential maintenance services to ensure the City's infrastructure remains in good working condition.
This position is critical to maintaining and improving roads, footpaths, cycleways, and drainage systems.
You will be responsible for performing a range of tasks including street and public amenity cleaning, operating trucks and machinery, and utilizing mobile technology to manage tasks and report issues.
Key responsibilities also include:
* Ensuring compliance with relevant legislative requirements and organizational policies.
* Performing regular equipment checks and maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
* Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Certificate III in Civil Construction/Maintenance Operations or equivalent qualification.
* National Construction Induction Certificate (Whitecard).
* Class MR Driver's Licence (or must obtain within 6 months from appointment).
