**Job Title:** High Voltage Electrician
Thiess is seeking an experienced High Voltage Electrician to join our project at Sonoma Mine situated 10km south of Collinsville.
About the Role
The successful candidate will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results, reporting to the Electrical Supervisor. The role involves performing servicing, repair, and maintenance of large-scale mobile mining equipment in accordance with Thiess maintenance systems documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing regular maintenance and repairs on mobile mining equipment;
* Conducting inspections to maximise equipment utilization;
* Source technical information from relevant manuals and computer-based systems;
Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a Queensland Electrical Fitter Mechanic Trade Certificate with post-trade experience working in the Mining industry, preferably with diesel electric haul trucks such as Hitachi AC, Liebherr, Komatsu or Cat. You should also have sound knowledge of AS/NZS standards and experience conducting statutory testing on electrical infrastructure.
