Overview
Senior Consultant, Strategic Sourcing role within the Personal Bank Sourcing team. You will join a team that focuses on customer obsession and delivering value through strategic sourcing initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end sourcing strategies that deliver commercial value, cost optimisation and operational efficiency across the business
* Build and manage strategic supplier partnerships while negotiating complex contracts and driving performance outcomes
* Partner closely with stakeholders to align sourcing to business goals, embedding strong governance, risk and compliance practices
Each day, you'll go above and beyond to:
* Develop and deliver strategic sourcing initiatives that drive cost optimisation, value creation and operational efficiency across the business
* Lead supplier selection, onboarding and contract negotiations, securing strong commercial outcomes and service performance
* Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to align sourcing with business priorities
* Analyse market trends, supplier performance and cost drivers to inform data-led sourcing decisions and continuous improvement
* Identify and manage supply chain risks, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure continuity and reliability
* Ensure all sourcing activities meet governance, regulatory and compliance standards while driving best practice procurement outcomes
* Establish and track supplier performance metrics (KPIs), providing insights and recommendations to optimise outcomes
* Champion sustainable sourcing practices that support corporate responsibility goals and long-term business value
Qualifications
* Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned to business objectives and market trends
* Strong commercial acumen with expertise in negotiating complex contracts and delivering value-for-money outcomes
* Advanced analytical skills to assess supplier performance, market dynamics and cost drivers to inform decision-making
* Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills across internal teams and external suppliers
* Ability to identify, assess and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure continuity and resilience
* Strong understanding of governance, risk and compliance requirements within procurement environments
* Experience managing multiple sourcing initiatives and delivering outcomes in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of sustainable sourcing practices and a commitment to driving responsible procurement outcomes
