IMPartners is recruiting on behalf of SA Construct for an experienced Truck Driver to support the safe and efficient delivery of materials across construction projects.
This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who takes ownership of their work, understands the importance of safety and reliability, and can be trusted to represent the business professionally on site.
Success in this role comes down to more than driving. We're looking for someone who plans ahead, communicates clearly, takes responsibility for their vehicle and deliveries, and understands how their work impacts project timelines and customer service.
About the Role
Working as part of the operations team, you will be responsible for transporting materials safely and efficiently between suppliers, depots and construction sites. You will manage loading and unloading activities, complete delivery documentation, maintain your assigned vehicle and ensure all transport activities comply with road regulations, Chain of Responsibility requirements and company procedures.
This role requires someone who is organized, reliable and capable of working independently while maintaining high safety and operational standards.
What You Will Be Doing
* Plan delivery schedules and transport routes
* Safely transport materials to construction sites and suppliers
* Secure loads in accordance with transport requirements
* Complete delivery documentation and verify load details
* Load and unload materials safely
* Operate forklifts or truck-mounted cranes where qualified
* Conduct daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance checks
* Report vehicle defects, incidents or maintenance requirements
* Maintain vehicle cleanliness and presentation
* Comply with NHVR Chain of Responsibility obligations
* Follow all WHS policies and site requirements
* Work closely with suppliers, builders and internal teams
* Contribute to continuous improvement of transport and delivery processes

Requirements
* Previous truck driving experience (HR licence)
* Hold a CV and DG licence
* Strong understanding of transport safety requirements
* Experience working in construction, building materials or related industries is advantageous
* Sound communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively
Relevant licences and tickets required for the role.
