We are looking for an Accounts Receivable and Collections Officer to join our Sunshine Coast office where you will play a key role in maintaining our financial health. You'll manage the debtors ledger, ensure timely payments, and support cash flow by tracking revenue and overseeing collections.
Your key responsibilities will be
• Timely receipting of all bank accounts
• Process all EFTPOS transactions by close of business each day
• Process direct debits on the 1st, 10th, 20th, 25th and 28th day of each month
• Receipt Company direct debits required as per bank statement
• Assist client with phone queries regarding credit card payments, copies of invoices and general account queries
• Follow company procedures in relation to customer complaints/ enquiries and ensure they are resolved within 24 hours
• Provide backup for the Collections Officer in relation to liaising with Service and Consumables departments regarding the withholding of service and goods ("Credit Hold") until the account is trading within the specified terms
• Liaise with Service & Supplies in managing the supply of goods to customers trading outside of their terms once payment has been received and they are trading within terms
• Communicate with clients honestly, clearly, respectfully and tactfully regarding monies owing
• Uphold best practice customer service
• Receive customer complaint enquiries and ensure they are passed onto the appropriate manager promptly
• Reconcile customer accounts
• Unallocated credit reports run and action weekly
• Assist in all administrative processes in an accurate and timely manner
Requirements
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications
• Customer and Partnership focused
• Ability to maintain Confidentiality
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workload
Prerequisites
• Only applicants with the eligibility to work in Australia will be considered
• Applicants should also be able to successfully complete a police check
