**About the 2025-26 Permanent and Temporary Section 26 Transfer Register**
The Department of Education Permanent and Temporary Section 26 Transfer Register is open for ongoing APS employees to register their interest for a permanent and/or temporary section 26 transfer to the department.
The register enables the department to access suitable and experienced individuals for employment opportunities across a broad range of classifications and business areas at short notice.
- You must be employed as an ongoing APS employee to apply.
- You will only be contacted in the event a vacancy arises that matches your skills and experience.
**The opportunity**
We are seeking motivated, adaptable individuals with a positive mindset and a range of expertise and transferable skill sets to work collaboratively to help the department deliver on its priorities.

**Eligibility**
- Citizenship: Under section 22(8) of the _Public Service Act 1999_, employees must be Australian citizens to be employed in the APS unless the Agency delegate has agreed, in writing.
- Security Clearance: You must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at a level designated by the Department.
