Senior Salesforce DevOps Engineer – EL1 Level | Hybrid | NV1 Required We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce DevOps Engineer / Salesforce Solution Lead to support a major Federal Government digital transformation program. This is a 12-month contract (with 2 × 12‑month extensions), and the successful specialist will lead the delivery of enterprise Salesforce solutions across multiple concurrent projects.
Role Overview In this leadership position, you will guide Salesforce development teams, drive solution design, ensure best‑practice configuration, and manage end‑to‑end deployments through
Azure DevOps CI/CD. You’ll work closely with architects, business analysts, and technical stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable and compliant Salesforce capability within a complex enterprise setting.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Salesforce technical delivery teams across multiple projects
Interpret business needs and design secure, scalable Salesforce solutions
Create solution prototypes, technical designs, diagrams and documentation
Champion config‑first approaches and enforce coding standards
Ensure compliance with Government ISM, security and records‑management requirements
Manage Salesforce releases and environment strategy through
Azure DevOps CI/CD
Oversee dev orgs, test data seeding, refresh cycles and quality checks
Provide clear, evidence‑based recommendations to senior stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years leading enterprise Salesforce programs
Service Cloud experience (Public Sector Cloud highly desirable)
Skilled in troubleshooting across config, code, environments and deployment
NV1 security clearance

Lightning + Omnistudio
Designing or maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce
Ability to attend office 3 days per week (Canberra)
