Job Description
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist, Exercise Physiologist, Physiotherapist or Rehabilitation Counsellor to work as a Rehabilitation Consultant with our team in Tamworth as a Contractor.
On a day-to-day basis you will be an integral part of the close-knit team of Kairros Consultants who work with and support people who have sustained a psychological or physical injury in the workplace.
As a valued team member your role will include:
Assessments including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic and equipment assessments
Be part of a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and return to work, always with your client's best interests at heart
Deliver targeted intervention strategies to improve life independence, vocational capacity and functional performance
Understanding a variety of healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes
Qualifications
Experience you will bring to the team:
A willingness to travel (Current Vehicle and Drivers Licence compulsory)
Full registration with AHPRA, ESSA or ASORC
Qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy or Rehabilitation Counselling
A passion for injury prevention, facilitation of return to independence at work and at home, and the desire to make a difference;
Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to delivering what we say we will and when we will
