Contract Administrator Role

We are seeking a skilled Contract Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the administration of contracts once they have been awarded.

The role involves ensuring that all contractual terms are adhered to and assisting in resolving any post-award issues that may arise. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and project teams, to ensure subcontract terms are clear, feasible, and compliant.

* Lead and manage subcontracts lifecycle from initiation to closure
* Draft, review and negotiate subcontracts, ensuring alignment with company objectives and legal requirements
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure subcontract terms are clear, feasible, and compliant

Risk Management:

* Identify potential risks and issues within subcontracts and propose effective mitigation strategies
* Conduct risk assessments to evaluate the impact of contractual terms on the organization

Vendor Management:

* Work closely with vendors and suppliers to establish and maintain strong working relationships
* Monitor vendor performance and address any non-compliance or performance issues

Negotiation:

* Lead contract negotiations with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to achieve favorable terms for the organization
* Collaborate with legal counsel when necessary to finalize agreements

Documentation and Reporting:

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation
* Generate reports on contract performance, compliance, and any relevant metrics

To succeed in this role, you will need:

* Proven experience in contract administration or a similar role, with a focus on post-award management
* Strong understanding of contract law and its application in a business setting
* In-depth knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and project management
* Strong negotiation and communication skills
* Ability to analyze complex contractual issues and provide practical solutions
* A degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field is preferred
