About NAISDA
NAISDA is Australia's leading Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performing arts training organisation. In 2026, we celebrate 50 years of shaping Strong Lives, Vibrant Communities and Creative Futures through dance and performing arts education. We're seeking a proactive Facilities Officer to support the campus maintenance and help ensure our spaces are welcoming, well‐maintained and meet all safety and operational standards.
What You'll Do
* Support the maintenance of buildings, grounds and equipment across campus
* Ensure spaces are welcoming, well‐maintained and meet all safety and operational standards
About You
* You must identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander under the NSW Anti-Discrimination Act exemption
* Experience in building maintenance and monitoring, or a related field
* Ability to organise and prioritise work with problem‐solving skills
* Relevant trade qualifications
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Understanding of, and commitment to, safety and sustainability requirements
* Demonstrated ability to engage respectfully and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities
* Collaborative approach and ability to work as part of a team
* A current NSW driver's licence
