What is your role?
* As Accounts Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our finance team with the day-to-day accounting operations of the business. You'll be hands-on with transactional accounting while gaining exposure to broader commercial processes across our national business.
* Your key responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with accounts receivable and accounts payable activities.
* Raising client invoices/credits
* Managing a portfolio of debtors.
* Performing balance sheet reconciliations and assisting with month-end processes.
* Supporting accurate financial reporting and contributing to process improvements.
* Collaborating with the finance and project teams to ensure timely and accurate financial outcomes.

About You
* Qualifications: Degree in Business or Accounting.
* Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in a finance or accounting team.
* Technical skills: Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (MYOB experience advantageous).
* Attributes: Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Bonus: Familiarity with professional services environments will be well regarded.
