0-2 PQE Lawyer | General Insurance | Melbourne
We are seeking a 0-2 PQE lawyer to join our growing General Insurance team in Melbourne.
Responsibilities
* Work on a diverse range of complex litigation and advice matters with a focus on personal injury and motor vehicle property claims.
* Develop skills in insurance law and litigation.
* Supervise and train junior lawyers as required.
* Have regular involvement and direct contact with clients.
* Appear in various courts and tribunals.
Requirements
* An academic qualification in law and be admitted with a current VIC practising certificate.
* 0-2 years of experience working in a law firm, preferably with experience in defendant insurance litigation.
* Excellent analytical, drafting and communication (verbal and written) skills, with superior attention to detail.
* Enthusiastic and personable lawyer with a passion for client service.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment as well as autonomously.
* Desire for personal development.
