About the Role
A great opportunitywaitsforan enthusiastic and motivated clerk to join the Adult Specialist Clinics administrative team.
The Specialist Clinic Clerk is an integral part of the team that supports the daily management of clinics and referrals.
We are seeking a candidate that has great customer service skills, an eye for detail, moderate computerskillsand is driven to learn and develop in a fast-pacedenvironment.
This isa great opportunityto be part of a busy team, providing support to a variety of stakeholders including clinicians,patientsand their families in addition to GP's and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Registration of current patients and updating of existing patient details
- Ensure patient and referrer receive correspondence in relation to new referrals and appointments
- Communicate and liaise with patients asrequired
- Make the achievement of Best Care a priority and pursue it by actively participating in organisational processes, safetysystemsand improvement initiatives

Western Health also provides the primary healthcare service at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, a women’s prison located in Ravenhall.
