Responsibilities
As Clinical Manager – Offender Programs at Acacia Prison, you will have a unique opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering evidence-based psychological interventions that support offender rehabilitation and contribute to safer communities. This is a full‐time leadership role based at Acacia Prison in Wooroloo, WA.
* Lead and inspire a team of psychologists, social workers, and program facilitators
* Oversee the delivery of structured offender rehabilitation programs
* Provide clinical supervision, training, and performance development
* Drive innovation and continuous improvement in rehabilitative outcomes
* Ensure compliance with regulations and standards for offender programs
This position carries trust and responsibility. A comprehensive probity assessment, including a Federal Police Check, is a key part of the selection process.
Qualifications
* Accredited qualification in Psychology and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), or an approved Master's degree in Social Work and full membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), with experience as a registered practitioner for a minimum of five years
* Experience in the leadership of a multidisciplinary team delivering psychological services or programs, preferably within a correctional, welfare or other institutional setting
* Experience in providing clinical supervision to psychologists and social workersAHPRA Board Approved Supervisor (Psychologists) is highly desirable
* Experience in the design and delivery of services for young adult offenders, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander offenders, those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and other at‐risk groups
