A great opportunity exists for a dynamic and motivated Japanese Speaking Assistant Manager to join H.I.S. Australia Pty Ltd on a Full Time basis in Cairns. H.I.S. As a Japanese Speaking Assistant Manager, assist the Branch Manager with daily operations, additionally handle customer inquiries and bookings for travel arrangements including, coach bookings, accommodation, day tours, car-hire, transfers; working over the telephone, on-line and face to face.
Responsibilities are, but not limited to:
* Work closely with the Branch Manager and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
* Monitor and maintain branch inventory of brochures and promotional materials.
* Assist in implementing sales strategies and achieving branch targets.
* Provide expert advice on tourist attractions, travel products, and promotions.
* Handle walk-in, phone, and email inquiries promptly and professionally.
* Liaise with airlines, hotels, and tour operators for confirmations and special requests.
* Resolve booking issues and negotiate solutions with suppliers when needed.
* Address client concerns and resolve travel-related issues promptly.
* Provide after-sales support, including itinerary changes and emergency assistance.
