About the Role
We are seeking skilled Lubrication Technicians to join our high‐performing team. You will contribute to the safe and efficient operation of fixed plant equipment through high‐quality lubrication, oil analysis and preventative maintenance activities across our Western Australian Iron Ore Fixed Plant assets.
Working a Residential Lifestyle Roster (Dayshift only), this hands‐on, site‐based role focuses on preventative maintenance and corrective actions arising from condition‐based inspections.
You will work closely with the Lubrication Supervisor, as well as other experienced team members to ensure equipment reliability and asset integrity.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine oil change outs and oil sampling across fixed plant equipment.
* Diagnose oil sample results and raise rectifications for any defects or contamination findings.
* Carry out lubrication tasks including grease runs, Perma lube replacements, manual greasing and auto lube system checks and top ups.
* Inspect and maintain lubricant and hydraulic tank levels in accordance with site standards.
* Conduct breather inspections and replacements to maintain system cleanliness.
* Provide support during shutdown activities, including assisting SME contractors.
* Contribute to team 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
You will be passionate about continuous improvement and ensure constant compliance with all safety standards, policies, guidelines and procedures. You will have a strong knowledge in working on and around fixed plant equipment, heavy machinery and materials handling equipment from mining or minerals processing industry.
To be considered for the role you'll need:
* Strong mechanical aptitude suited to hands on work.
* Valid C Class unrestricted Driver's Licence (essential).
* FLAC knowledge, MLT1 or similar lubrication training (highly regarded).
* Forklift Licence (advantageous, training can be provided).
* Experience with lubrication inspections, oil sampling, greasing, and related tasks—particularly in a fixed plant environment is advantageous.
* Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and following site procedures and standards.
