Job Title: Health Safety Manager
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Health Safety Manager to lead our safety initiatives across a diverse portfolio. This role will see you design and manage health safety systems that not only ensure compliance but also build a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement health safety management systems suited to construction and property development.
* Ensure compliance with legislation and regulatory requirements across QLD, SA, and NSW.
* Lead and manage health safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
* Support Site Managers in using digital platforms for safety reporting and documentation.
* Drive a culture of safety awareness and innovation across all project teams.
* Deliver training, coaching, and practical guidance to staff on health safety best practice.
* Work with Project Managers and stakeholders to integrate health safety into project planning and delivery.
Criteria:
The successful candidate will have:
* Extensive experience managing health safety within the construction industry.
* A proven background supporting property development projects.
* MUST have experience with high rise residential or commercial projects.
* Strong capability in developing and embedding health safety systems.
* Practical experience with One Bread Crumb and Procore platforms (desirable).
* Solid understanding of health safety legislation across QLD, SA, and NSW.
* Formal qualifications in Work Health and Safety (or a related field).
* Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Willingness to travel interstate as required
