Job Title: Junior Mainframe Support Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Mainframe Support Specialist to join our team. As a Junior Mainframe Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing foundational technical support in infrastructure services, assisting with infrastructure projects and assignments, participating in basic monitoring and routine troubleshooting of infrastructure systems, collaborating with team members to address infrastructure challenges and daily operational tasks, supporting the creation and maintenance of infrastructure documentation, and developing and improving technical skills through on-the-job experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical assistance in routine tasks and resolve issues efficiently.
* Assist in implementing infrastructure projects and assignments, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery.
* Participate in monitoring and troubleshooting infrastructure systems to identify and resolve problems promptly.
* Collaborate with team members to address infrastructure challenges and optimize daily operational processes.
* Support the development and maintenance of infrastructure documentation, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
* Develop and improve technical skills through on-the-job experience, staying up-to-date with industry knowledge and technology advancements.
Requirements:
To be successful as a Junior Mainframe Support Specialist, you must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience, typically 1+ years of relevant work experience, proven experience in infrastructure technology analysis, proficiencies in data analysis and technical knowledge, and a continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Advanced degree in a relevant field is preferred.
* Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or Google Cloud Associate, are a plus.
