Ecological Surveyor
We are seeking an Ecological Surveyor to join our team. In this role, you will conduct field-based ecology survey work, including baseline surveys, monitoring programmes, and targeted flora and weed assessments across various bioregions.
* Conduct field-based ecology surveys, gathering data on flora and fauna populations.
* Develop and implement strategies for ecological conservation and management.
* Collaborate with internal clients to deliver high-quality results.
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in environmental science, ecology, or a related field, as well as excellent field skills and experience conducting and leading botanical surveys.
* Undergraduate degree in environmental science, ecology, botany or similar.
* Excellent field skills with 5+ years experience conducting and leading botanical surveys in various WA environments.
* Strong technical reporting skills proficiency in GIS desktop and data collection packages.
* WA driving licence and ability to work outdoors on short and extended field programmes.
