Casual Revenue Officer Opening at SALHN
As a Casual Revenue Officer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the financial well-being of SA Health's Southern Adelaide Local Health Network. Your responsibilities will span accounts receivable processing, debt recovery management, and accurate revenue collection – pivotal functions that keep our healthcare operations running smoothly. This casual position offers the perfect blend of challenge and flexibility, allowing you to make a meaningful impact while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
About the role:
Reporting to the Manager, Recovery and Receipting Ops, some of your duties as the Casual Revenue Officer may involve:
Hospital Billing and Private Practice administration processes.
Generation of claims from Medicare, Health Funds and other third parties.
Collection of cash and debtors.
Processing of approved debt waivers and write-offs.
About you:
Previous experience in identifying customer needs, development of service strategies, provision of quality customer service.
Experience in the use of Spreadsheet Applications.
Demonstrated experience in use of computerised accounting and billing systems that are relevant to hospital or medical billing and receipting functions.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and colleagues.
