Overview This role is critical in ensuring the stability, reliability, and optimal performance of our finance systems, supporting the finance function and broader business in BAU operations.This is not a project-heavy role.
It's built around steady, ongoing support, user enablement, troubleshooting, and system optimisation within the context of the existing finance systems landscape.
Key Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for all Dynamics BC-related issues, queries, and support requests from the Finance and related business teamsMaintain system integrity and performance through regular monitoring, troubleshooting, and proactive maintenanceManage user access, roles, and permissions within Dynamics BCSupport finance processes such as AP/AR, GL, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, and month-end close activities through systems expertiseLiaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to log, track, and resolve incidents or minor change requestsEnsure system configurations and setups support BAU requirements and are aligned with finance and audit policiesDeliver user training, guidance, and documentation to promote effective use of the systemAssist in routine data loads, reconciliations, and reporting tasks as neededIdentify opportunities for process/system improvements and assist with minor enhancements and configuration updatesStay informed on Dynamics BC updates/releases and assess potential impact on existing processes Key Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Finance Systems Analyst, Systems Accountant, or similar role.Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (essential)Solid understanding of core finance processes (e.g., accounts payable/receivable, GL, month-end)Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skillsComfortable supporting end-users in a fast-paced, BAU environmentExperience managing permissions, users, and roles in ERP systemsFamiliarity with finance reporting tools and basic SQL or Power BI (Nice to have)Good communication skillsDegree qualified in Finance or AccountingMicrosoft Dynamics BC certification (Nice to have) Salary Up to 130k + S How to Apply Please apply through the link below or email me directly at We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Systems Analyst to join our clients team and take ownership of their Finance System.
