Role Summary
We are actively seeking a talented Vice President or Senior Vice President to play a key role in the expansion of our Infrastructure Advisory platform in Sydney. This is a high-impact opportunity to help establish and grow a relationships‑led, advisory‑focused franchise across the ANZ infrastructure market.
The successful candidate will combine strong execution expertise with growing or proven origination capability, working closely with senior leadership while taking increasing ownership of client relationships, strategic advisory mandates, and market development. The role offers significant scope to shape sector strategy, originate M&A opportunities, and position the firm as a trusted advisor to infrastructure investors and corporates.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead execution of infrastructure M&A and strategic advisory transactions
* Play a central role in origination, identifying and converting opportunities across infrastructure sectors in ANZ
* Build and maintain senior client relationships including infrastructure funds, pension funds and corporates
* Drive client dialogue and idea generation, with increasing ownership of strategic advice
* Contribute to defining and scaling the firm’s infrastructure advisory franchise, including sector priorities and target clients
* Collaborate selectively with product teams where relevant, while maintaining an advisory‑led client approach
* Oversee and quality‑review the analytical output of junior team members to support marketing and execution activities
Requirements
* A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in infrastructure investment banking with a proven track record in executing advisory‑led transactions, particularly M&A
* Demonstrated ability or clear trajectory toward client origination and relationship ownership
* Deep understanding of ANZ infrastructure sectors, including key investors and market dynamics
* Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen, with a focus on long‑term client relationships
* Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills, applied in an advisory context
* Ability to operate effectively in a growth‑oriented, entrepreneurial environment with high levels of autonomy
