About the Role
We're looking for an energetic and dependable Retail Store Person to become the behind-the-scenes hero of our retail team. In this dynamic, fast-paced role, you'll support daily retail operations, help customers collect their orders with a smile, and keep things running smoothly in the back-of-store warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
* Loading of weekly trucks and containers with precision and care
* Assisting customers with order collections to create a seamless experience
* Supporting the retail sales team with stock/product movement for the shop floor
* Accurately receipting goods into our operating system
* Assembly of furniture with pride and attention to detail
* Contributing to and upholding all OH&S requirements
* Maintaining good housekeeping techniques and an organized, safe and tidy store and warehouse
* Working collaboratively as part of a team, using initiative, problem-solve and handle a fast-paced environment
Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in a similar role supporting warehousing and distribution
* Good computer skills (email, Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook)
* A passion to help people and a desire to get results
* Physical capability to handle our products
* Excellent communication skills
* Reliable, committed, proactive and driven with a can‐do attitude
* Manual handling of products including lifting, carrying and moving items of varying sizes; applicants must be physically capable of safely performing these tasks as part of their daily duties
