About the role
The Finance Business Partner is accountable for providing financial insight, performance analysis and cost discipline to a Business Unit within Latitude. The role plays a critical part in driving operating expense discipline and supporting financial performance across the Business Unit. The primary focus of the role is oversight and analysis of operating expenses, while also partnering with Product and Risk stakeholders to support forecasting, performance monitoring and financial analysis across selected product portfolios, including revenue, margins and risk-adjusted performance metrics. Responsibilities
Partner with business leaders to monitor and manage operating expenses, ensuring alignment to budget and identifying risks and opportunities early Lead monthly expense reporting and variance analysis, providing clear and practical insights Support budgeting and forecasting processes with a strong focus on cost drivers and operating expense performance Work with business stakeholders to improve cost transparency, challenge assumptions and identify opportunities for efficiency Own financial oversight of assigned product portfolios, including revenue, margins and key risk-adjusted performance metrics Provide clear commercial recommendations to improve cost efficiency and product profitability Lead business cases and support financial evaluation of new initiatives, ensuring assumptions are robust and commercially grounded Work closely with FP&A, Risk and other Finance teams to ensure consistent data and reporting Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to automation initiatives Balance multiple stakeholder requests while maintaining high quality and timely output Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in a finance business partnering, FP&A or Commercial Finance role with exposure to cost management, budgeting and performance analysis Strong experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and management reporting processes Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with the ability to translate drivers into clear commercial insights Confidence working with operational and product stakeholders Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate financial insights clearly to non-finance audiences Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines Growth mindset and willingness to take on broader portfolio responsibility over time Familiar with AI tools – comfortable using tools to accelerate insights, automate routine work, prepare reporting, and tailor content quickly and effectively Commercially sharp, confident influencing stakeholders and ready to take ownership of meaningful cost and performance portfolios within a fast paced environment Eligibility and Requirements
