Our Adelaide-based government client is seeking a Senior Dynamics 365 Developer with solid Power Platform capability to lead the design, development, and optimisation of enterprise-grade business solutions. This role is a 12-month contract.
This hybrid role blends advanced Dynamics 365 CE customisation with broad Power Platform development, spanning CRM enhancements, low-code app build, integrations, and data migration. You'll develop scalable solutions across D365, Power Apps, and Power Automate, while working closely with analysts and architects to ensure alignment with governance and architecture standards.
What You'll Be Doing
Dynamics 365 Developer Responsibilities
- Customising and extending Dynamics 365 CE through entities, forms, JavaScript, plugins (C#), workflows, and solution components.
- Performing complex configuration, integration, and automation tasks within the Dynamics environment.
- Supporting CRM-centric business processes and ensuring robust, scalable technical solutions.
Power Platform Developer Responsibilities
- Designing and building solutions across Power Apps (model-driven & canvas), Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power Pages.
- Developing custom connectors and low-code/no-code solutions to streamline business operations.
- Implementing API integrations using Power Platform tools or Azure services.
Technical Leadership & Delivery
- Leading development activities and supporting junior developers.
- Managing CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps (version control, branching, release management).
- Designing, documenting, and delivering end-to-end technical solutions.
- Collaborating with project teams, architects, and stakeholders across technical and business streams.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5+ years experience in a senior development role.
- Deep hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 CE customisation and Power Platform development.
- Strong technical capability in C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Liquid, Dataverse, APIs, and Azure Services.
- Experience with data migration tools (e.g., KingswaySoft, ADF) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills, stakeholder engagement capability, and the ability to work autonomously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Desirable: Microsoft certifications (PL-400, MB-600, AZ-204), and experience with Azure Integration Services.
