Mercy Community is looking for a Lifestyle Facilitator to inspire joy, creativity, and meaningful experiences in the daily lives of our residents. This is a permanent full-time role based at our Bethany Residential Aged Care Facility in Rockhampton.
What you'll be doing:
* Getting to know each resident and tailoring activities to their unique skills, interests, and goals
* Facilitating engaging group programs as well as personalised one-on-one activities
* Contributing to the design of monthly lifestyle calendars in partnership with the Facility Manager
* Recording and reviewing outcomes to continually improve the program's impact
What you'll bring:
* Certificate III in Aged Care (with Lifestyle Program experience) OR Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle
* A current First Aid certificate
* Experience in a similar role – aged care experience highly regarded
* A Queensland Provisional Green or higher Driver Licence
* Most importantly – a passion for making every day meaningful for others
