Currently we are hiring qualified support workers to fill out some shifts in Perth's North of the river area.
About the role
We are specificallty looking for someone to cover a 24hrs shift every Friday and an afternnon to overnight shift every Tuesday, We also have multiple Support Worker roles available for community shifts across Perth metropolitan. ; you will be reuired to support our NDIS participants with the follwing actvity:
- Community access including transport support.
- Light household cleaning
- Social support.
Your Skills and Experience
To be successful in the role, you will require the following:
- A genuine passion to work alongside participants and to make a positive and lasting difference in their lives
- Skilled or lived experience of the NDIS and/or Aged Care sectors
- Experience of complex behaviours and behaviour support methods (a bonus - not a requirement)
- Excellent communication skills, commitment to a person-centred focus and flexibility to support needs based on individual circumstances
- A sense of humour (another bonus - not a requirement)
- Resilience and compassion
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- Qualification in Disability, Aged Care or related field preferred
- Current First Aid certificate
- Current CPR certificate
- Current Drivers Licence & access to a reliable vehicle
- The right to work in Australia
