Structural Draftsperson Position
We seek a skilled draftsperson to join our structural engineering team. The ideal candidate will be part of the design process for various projects.
Responsibilities:
* The successful candidate must understand and adhere to work health and safety protocols in the office and on site.
* Provide technical support to senior engineers, assisting with project tasks and design coordination.
* Prepare detailed drawings using AutoCAD and Revit, ensuring accuracy and precision.
* Convert engineer mark-ups into CAD drawings, maintaining project standards.
* Assist with communication between engineers, builders, and consultants, ensuring smooth project execution.
* Maintain project documentation and drawing standards.
* Participate in site visits as required.
Requirements:
* Fundamental knowledge of structural engineering principles is essential.
* A qualification in engineering drafting or structural engineering is preferred.
* A Year 12 HSC or equivalent qualification is mandatory.
* A minimum of 2–3 years' experience in structural drafting is required.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, with knowledge of Revit being beneficial.
